- 8 oz rotini pasta
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water. Add the rotini pasta and cook until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Add halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook until softened (about 5 minutes).
- Combine the cooked pasta with the tomato-garlic mixture in the skillet, stirring well.
- Add torn basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese, mixing gently until combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.
