Instructions

- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Scoop rounded balls of dough onto prepared sheets, spacing them about two inches apart. Add sprinkles if desired.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden but centers remain soft. Let cool briefly before transferring to wire racks.
