Description

A refreshing blend of fresh-squeezed orange and lemon juice, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups orange juice (preferably fresh squeezed, about 6 to 8 oranges)
  • 1 cup lemon juice (preferably fresh squeezed, about 4 to 6 lemons)
  • 1/2 cup simple syrup (see notes for preparation)
  • 5 cups water (cold)

Instructions

  1. Cut the oranges and lemons in half and use a citrus press to squeeze the juices into a liquid measuring cup.
  2. Strain the juices through a fine mesh sieve.
  3. Combine the strained juices with simple syrup and cold water in a large pitcher, then stir to combine.
  4. Serve over ice and garnish with slices of orange and lemon.

Notes

  • For simple syrup, combine equal parts sugar and water, heat until dissolved, then let cool.
