- ⅓ cup fresh orange juice
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Fold in orange zest.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, alternating with orange juice until just mixed.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips and pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow to cool before slicing.
