Ingredients

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chickpeas: Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas under cold water until clean.
  2. Blend Ingredients: In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, peanut butter, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, salt, and cumin.
  3. Pulse Until Smooth: Blend until silky smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  4. Adjust Consistency: If too thick, add water one tablespoon at a time until desired texture is reached.
  5. Taste Test: Adjust seasoning with more salt or lemon juice if necessary.
  6. Serve: Transfer hummus to a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle paprika if desired.
