- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar

- 1 cup strawberries, fresh or frozen

- ¾ cup milk
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth. Chill until slightly firm.
- Prepare red velvet waffle batter as instructed on the package or recipe, and let rest for a few minutes.
- Preheat and grease the waffle iron with butter or non-stick spray.
- Spoon a layer of waffle batter into the iron, add a scoop of cream cheese filling, and cover with more batter.
- Close and cook until golden and crisp on the outside.
- Warm strawberries or macerate them with sugar.
- Top cooked waffles with strawberries and a dusting of powdered sugar.
- Serve immediately and enjoy warm!
