Description

Ingredients

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup strawberries, fresh or frozen
  • 2 tablespoons butter or neutral oil
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth. Chill until slightly firm.
  2. Prepare red velvet waffle batter as instructed on the package or recipe, and let rest for a few minutes.
  3. Preheat and grease the waffle iron with butter or non-stick spray.
  4. Spoon a layer of waffle batter into the iron, add a scoop of cream cheese filling, and cover with more batter.
