- ½ cup mini chocolate chips
- 14 oz pre-made pie crusts
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- Chopped pistachios
- Maraschino cherries
- Extra chocolate chips
Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare the Filling – Mix ricotta, powdered sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Step 2: Preheat the Oven – Heat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Step 3: Prepare the Bottom Crust – Press one pie crust into a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Step 4: Add the Filling – Spread ricotta mixture evenly over the crust.
- Step 5: Add the Top Crust – Place second crust on top, seal edges, brush with egg, and sprinkle sugar.
- Step 6: Bake – Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden.
- Step 7: Cool and Slice – Cool at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
