- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 medium Onion
- 8 oz Mushrooms
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 2 cups Beef broth
- 1 cup Sour cream
- 8 oz Egg noodles
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
- 1 tbsp Paprika
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Sauté the onions in a large skillet over medium heat until they become translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Brown the ground beef, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook for 8-10 minutes until no longer pink and nicely browned.
- Sprinkle in flour and stir well to combine. Cook for about 1 minute.
- Pour in the beef broth and stir to combine all ingredients. Bring it to a simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Add the mushrooms and sour cream, mixing gently until everything is well combined. Let it simmer for another 3-4 minutes.
- Serve the stroganoff over cooked egg noodles or rice, garnishing with fresh parsley.

- Substitute sour cream with Greek yogurt if desired.
