Description

Ingredients

  • 1 medium Onion
  • 8 oz Mushrooms
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 8 oz Egg noodles

  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Sauté the onions in a large skillet over medium heat until they become translucent, about 5 minutes.
  2. Brown the ground beef, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook for 8-10 minutes until no longer pink and nicely browned.
  3. Sprinkle in flour and stir well to combine. Cook for about 1 minute.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and stir to combine all ingredients. Bring it to a simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the mushrooms and sour cream, mixing gently until everything is well combined. Let it simmer for another 3-4 minutes.
  6. Serve the stroganoff over cooked egg noodles or rice, garnishing with fresh parsley.
