Description

Deliciously sweet and chewy treats made with rice cereal, marshmallows, caramel, peanuts, and chocolate.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 cups rice cereal
  • 1 bag (10 oz) mini marshmallows
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup thick caramel sauce (or melted caramel candies with a splash of cream)
  • ¾ cup salted peanuts
  • 1½ cups milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Add mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the rice cereal until evenly coated.
  4. Press the mixture into a greased or parchment-lined 9×13-inch pan.
  5. Pour caramel sauce over the cereal layer and sprinkle peanuts on top, pressing them in lightly.
  6. Melt the chocolate chips and spread evenly over the caramel-peanut layer.
  7. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until chocolate sets.
  8. Slice into squares and enjoy!
