Description

A delicious and creamy strawberry banana pudding trifle perfect for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • 1 package (5 oz) vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold whole milk
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • 2 cups vanilla wafers (whole or crushed)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until it begins to thicken. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk until fully incorporated.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped topping until smooth and fluffy. Set aside in the fridge.
  4. Wash and slice the strawberries. Peel and slice the bananas. Toss banana slices in lemon juice to prevent browning if preparing ahead.
  5. In a trifle dish, start with a layer of vanilla wafers, then add a layer of the pudding mixture, followed by sliced strawberries and bananas. Repeat the layers until you reach the top.
  6. Finish with a final layer of whipped topping and garnish with extra fruit and crushed wafers.
  7. Cover and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
